Privacy Policy

How Integrity IT collects, uses and protects personal information under the Privacy Act 2020.

Integrity Information Technology Limited trading as Integrity IT (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, support and related technology services to businesses in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

1. Information we collect

We may collect personal information about you, including:

  • Your name, job title, business name, email address, phone number and other contact details.
  • Information you provide through our website, contact forms, email, telephone calls, support requests, surveys or meetings.
  • Information related to the services we provide, such as support-ticket content, device and asset details, usernames, technical configuration data, security events and system logs.
  • Website and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies.
  • Billing, payment and account information where relevant.

We collect only information that is reasonably necessary for our business activities and the services we provide.

2. Why we collect information

We may collect and use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide quotes or information about our services.
  • Set up, deliver, manage and support our services.
  • Monitor, maintain and secure systems, networks, devices and cloud services.
  • Diagnose faults, investigate security events and provide technical support.
  • Manage our relationship with customers, suppliers and prospective customers.
  • Send service communications, invoices and account notices.
  • Meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Improve our website, services, systems and security.

If you choose not to provide requested information, we may be unable to respond to an enquiry or provide some services.

3. Information handled for customers

When we provide managed IT services, we may access or process personal information held within a customer’s systems. This may include user contact information, account details, device and asset data, technical logs, support-ticket information, security information, and data incidentally accessed while performing authorised support work.

We access and use that information only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain and support the contracted services, to comply with law, or as otherwise authorised by the customer. Our responsibilities and the customer’s responsibilities are also set out in the applicable service agreement.

4. Disclosure of information

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Our employees and authorised contractors who need it to perform their work.
  • Technology, hosting, cloud, backup, monitoring, security, helpdesk, communications, accounting and payment providers.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, auditors and regulators.
  • Law-enforcement agencies, government bodies or other parties where required or permitted by law.
  • Other parties with your consent or the customer’s authorisation.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Overseas processing

Some service providers we use may store or process personal information outside New Zealand. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient provides appropriate safeguards for personal information in accordance with New Zealand privacy law.

We also provide services to customers located outside New Zealand, including in Australia and Asia. Where we handle personal information in the course of providing those services, we do so in accordance with our obligations under New Zealand law and any additional obligations that apply in the relevant jurisdiction.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative and organisational safeguards to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse, modification or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, multi-factor authentication, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, logging, staff training and supplier controls.

No system or internet transmission is completely secure. If we become aware of a privacy breach that is likely to cause serious harm, we will respond in accordance with our legal obligations.

7. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, understand how it is used and improve its performance. You can usually manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website functionality.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide services, to meet legal or contractual obligations, or to resolve disputes. We then securely delete, destroy or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

9. Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we cannot provide or correct information, we will explain why, subject to applicable law.
